Pete was brilliant. Our 9-year-old had a two-hour private lesson and absolutely loved it. He rated it 10/10 and insisted on booking another lesson for the very next day!

Is this right for us?

All of our guides are highly experienced in supporting riders of mixed abilities and confidence levels. You’ll never be pressured into riding anything you’re not comfortable with. Instead, we focus on positive encouragement—gently helping you step beyond your comfort zone at your own pace so you can build skills and confidence safely. Our aim is to create a relaxed, supportive environment where progression feels achievable and enjoyable for everyone.

What to expect on your ride

We’ll begin with a friendly welcome and a quick check of your bikes, helmets and clothing. A gentle warm-up helps us understand everyone’s ability, confidence and goals.

From there, we’ll choose trails that suit your group, adjusting the route and pace as we ride. You’ll receive friendly guidance and practical coaching whenever it’s helpful—whether you want to build confidence, improve your skills or simply discover the best of Glentress.

After around two hours, we’ll finish at an agreed location with new skills, greater confidence and plenty of great memories.
